An Audit of Third Sector Resources in Scotland

Monday 16th July 2012

This audit looked at 315 print resources relating to HIV in Scotland. It showed a broad coverage of topics aimed at a cross section of target audiences with a good level of detailed and accessible information. It also showed duplication of information in some areas and gaps in resources in others. This audit included magazines, postcards, brochures, booklets, flyers and posters produced by national third sector organisations with a HIV remit in Scotland. The purpose of this audit is to identify where duplication and omissions occur within resource provision in order to establish if further resources are needed and provide these where appropriate. By indentifying if there are gaps in resource provision we are able to investigate the need for any additional resources. Where duplication occurs, we aim to identify if there is a need for this duplication or whether one or more materials could be discontinued.
