What is World AIDS Day?

World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year. It's an opportunity for people around the world to unite and remind ourselves that HIV and AIDS have not gone away. Every year people across Scotland take part and show their support by wearing red ribbons, holding and attending events, taking action or a moment to reflect.
