Brownlee Clinic: HIV Viral Load Tests

The Brownlee Clinic has informed us that it was recently notified by the Regional Virus Laboratory that some HIV Viral Load tests, carried out between March 2017 and August 2017, may have given inaccurate results.

Research shows HIV testing in Primary Care is cost effective

A new study, published at the end of July, found that offering routine HIV tests to people during the registration process with new GP surgeries in high-risk areas is cost effective and can lead to people living with HIV being diagnosed and supported on to treatment, where they might otherwise have been unaware of their status.
