Young People's Sexual Health Workshop

Back to news & events

Wednesday 24th January 2018

Following HIV Scotland’s HIV and Education: Guaranteeing Lessons for All [PDF - 3MB] report, we are in the final stages of our survey of young people and their experiences of sexual health education in Scotland at the moment we have more than 2000 responses.

To complement the survey, we are organising two free workshops to help us better understand young people’s (ages 18 to 25) attitudes and knowledge of sexual health and HIV. This is an excellent opportunity for young people to engage in and inform sexual health education policy. We are creating an exciting and participatory agenda where their views and experiences will inform our education work.

We want to make sure that the opinions and experiences of young people are considered. We'e inviting anyone who went to school in Scotland between the age of 18 - 25 to join us and share their views and recommendations on the future of sexual health education in Scotland.
