Canon Gideon is an Anglican priest from Uganda who is living with HIV and campaigns to ensure people are well informed about HIV. Visiting Scotland in July 2011 he was keynote speaker at a faith and health conference held in Glasgow, which brought together over 80 leaders of African Christian faith communities.
Marjorie Clark, Coordinator for the Church of Scotland HIV and AIDS Programme talks to Canon Gideon about living with HIV and the impact stigma has on transmission, prevention and testing of HIV.
