HIV Anti-Stigma Strategy Consultation

Back to news & events

Friday 12th May 2017

The HIV anti-stigma consortium are in the final stages of completing the first draft of the HIV anti stigma strategy. The consortium met five times over the last year to discuss the complexities and differing experiences of stigma in Scotland. They are now agreeing to a plan of actions for the next ten years to bring us closer to eliminating HIV stigma.

We are now looking to hear from people living with HIV and key populations affected by HIV stigma. This is an opportunity for people to really contribute to this strategy and share their thoughts, concerns and experiences of stigma in Scotland. We will discuss the priorities and activities of the strategy and ensure that we capture the realities of living with HIV stigma in Scotland.

Whatever your experiences, we want you to join us at an informal and fun event for people living with and affected by HIV. It will be a chance to meet others, share your story and help us make positive change. Your knowledge and experience can make a real difference.
