We are looking for an individual with drive and determination who is an effective team player to join our small Fundraising Team during one of the busiest times of the year.
You will have:
- An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work and self motivation
- Excellent telephone manner - confident and persuasive
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong administrative skills with good attention to detail
· The ability to prioritise, multitask and work effectively under pressure
· Familiarity with basic IT packages and the ability to maintain administrative systems.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to gain experience of fundraising in the voluntary sector as a first step towards building a career in fundraising.
The key purpose of this role is to provide support to NAT’s Fundraising Team in the run up to, and during, two key events.
This will involve:
· Supporting preparations for a Major Donor fundraising event and assisting with logistical arrangements on the night.
· Assisting with the recruitment of walkers for a large sponsored walk, with pre-walk preparations and with logistical arrangements on the day.
· Maintaining accurate records of supporters and sponsorship activities, and ensuring effective post-event follow-up.
· Assisting the Fundraising Team to meet income targets linked to events.
Training needs will be assessed, and further training will be provided to enable you to develop your skills within this role if appropriate.
